What is The Process Like?

In our first discovery session, we will develop a personalized plan of action that fits your schedule and goals. We are here to support you in self-discovery through encouragement and accountability, which includes asking challenging and thought provoking questions when needed while  giving you the space and time to answer those questions without judgement. We will then set up a coaching program designed especially for you that will support you on your journey to healing and reaching your goals for healthy living.
1. How Do I Know if Counseling or Coaching Is For Me?

Great question! We all have reservations when trying something new or making changes in our lives. Sometimes it helps to be able to have guidance and accountability to go through the process.

Click here to set up a self discovery session.

2. What Is The Purpose In Counseling & Coaching?

To see you rise up in confidence and strength, living a healthy and fulfilling life.

3. Does It Really Work?

Studies conducted by the International Coaching Federation on the effectiveness of life coaching showed 99% of the people they interviewed saw their experience working with a life coach as rewarding, while 96% stated they would do it again.

4. Can This Help Victims of Abuse/Trauma?

Yes! There is hope! We know what it is like to suffer setbacks in life and develop unhealthy survival skills. By the grace of God and perseverance we have been able to Rise Up out of the ashes.

We would love to walk alongside you and help you rise up out of the ashes!

“O LORD, my God, in You I put my trust;

save me from all those who persecute me; and deliver me.”

Psalm 1:1

A Message From Our Founder

Hi friends!

The team at Rise Up is committed to meeting you right where you are! No one knows your story better than you; though sometimes it takes an objective person to help you navigate through the details to gain clarity and set a course of self-discovery and healing.  Though we are women of faith, we do not insert Christianity in any way unless it is asked for in our first discovery session.

Our coaches have experienced trauma in their respective areas of focus and understand that everyone experiences pain differently and has specific needs for their healing process. We are here to support you in your level of need and comfort – whether that is a little nudge to keep you moving forward, or in a deeper, and longer-term capacity.

We will help you begin to see the truth about the unhealthy lies you have come to believe, whether survival or projected.

We also partner with therapists and psychiatrists in coaching you between visits. All coaching services and materials are provided as a courtesy so that finances won’t be  hinderance to your healing, and are made possible through the generosity of our donors. If, however, you find yourself in a position to contribute, you are invited to do so through our website DONATE button.

We consider it a great honor and responsibility to walk along side you, and will do so with compassion, grace and integrity. We uphold the highest standards of confidentiality for each of our clients and we recognize the incredible step of faith you will take in choosing Rise Up for your coaching needs – thank you.

We look forward to connecting with you, and remember, you are worth far more than the most precious of stones!

With grace,

Team Rise Up

Testimonials

“Where do I even begin? You helped take my life from misery to God’s beautiful graces. You didn’t give up on me even when I was so unruly and hard-hearted. I struggled with love, self acceptance, and with the fact that I had made such a mess of my life. I was at rock-bottom and you helped me keep my head above the water and learn how to swim myself with the help of Jesus at my side. You showed me just who God is and should be in my life. You helped give me back all the hope I had lost. My life hasn’t been the same since the day I met you. You forever helped change my life and I couldn’t be more grateful. You are a saint.”

Somar

“I was so afraid to talk to you at first, but you were so patient and gave me time to learn to trust you. I thought you were going to judge me, but you didn’t. I was also afraid you were going to talk about God, but you didn’t. You listened to me and help me see that I didn’t hate myself and the reason I was hurting myself is because I was trying to escape the real pain deep inside. You helped me get well by asking me questions that made me think. Thank you for not judging me and for helping me get better.

M.

“I am a professionally trained social worker, and I have PTSD. Over time I took on too many responsibilities that were not mine to carry. I went through a lot of trauma and had deaths in my family , all while maintaining a high case load of people who were also hurting. Teresa understood my PTSD and compassion fatigue as they call it, and she is the best therapist, counselor, teacher and friend I could’ve asked for. She has an uncanny clinical awareness,  and is professionally trained, but also has an empathic and loving heart that does not judge. When you experience trauma or PTSD there is a lot of shame and guilt you can feel. Teresa helped me work through those feelings  and remember that I have courage and strength,  and that I’m never alone.

Fast forward  and I’m continuing to heal and I’m at a better job that is a much better fit for me. Teresa also helped me discern what position was healthier, as did God in His loving grace and presence working through her.”
